Crosswire 1.4B Bot |
 |
I decompiled Parker's old Crosswire 1.4 bot that was floating around the internet and fixed it to work with the latest version of Crosswire.
Changes:
- Decreased mouse speed and increased the difference between the 4 speeds.
- Fixed it to recognize and click some buttons that have apparently changed.
- Added an instruction box.
- Added hotkey Ctrl + Alt + C to restart the bot.
Captcha boxes still appear every so often between games and the bot still might trip up and go stupid/insane. You should make sure no programs can pop up and interrupt it and check up on it every so often.
To use the bot properly, you should...
- Be using Firefox.
- Not have the game window maximized or resized horizontally.
- Not have any part of the game covered by other windows or by being resized too small vertically.
- Keep the game window active constantly whenever you're using the bot.
- Not have a tab bar or any other toolbars visible in the window.
- Have a screen resolution of at least 1024x768.
- Have 32 bit (or higher?) display colors.
- Probably turn off any Windows theme that changes the size of title bars.
Here is a picture of a bottable crosswire window. >>
I did not make this program. I modified the original bot made by Parker.

Live Searching Bot |
 |
If you want to support Live Search Club, run this batch script to automatically send searches to them. It goes much faster than a browser and uses fewer resources. By default it is set to search for "new car", which brings up plenty of ads on the search page. Requires Windows 2000 or newer.
Note: This will not affect your chances of recieving prizes in any way.

Auto Type |
 |
If you register on AnagramsSolved.com, you will recieve access to a feature called Auto Type for Flexicon. Simply log in and run a search for Flexicon answers. You should see new links in your results. Click "Get Solution" to download a small script file. You can run this file to automatically type in all the answers for the puzzle.
Before you run it, make sure the first blank is highlighted just as it was when the puzzle first loaded. If you mess up, click on an area of the web page outside of the game box (such as the curtains) then press F5 to refresh the game and start the round over.
It's not as good as a complete bot but it's a lot better than nothing.
Note: If your antivirus tells you this is a suspicious file, ignore it or disable it because it's just being paranoid. |
